Joining the choir
The Choir meet to rehearse at Chester Deaf Centre, from 9.30am to 11.30am every Saturday.
New members can join at any time of the year, and after a probationary period of 3 months, can join as full members.

Whilst not essential, it is desirable that all adult volunteers have or are working towards Level 1 British Sign Language qualification, or have previous experience of BSL such as first language or conversational fluency.
Children from the age of 8 years and upwards wishing to join are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We perform around 30-40 bookings a year.
All choir members once joining become volunteers for ‘Chester & District Committee for Deaf People’. Attendances at practices and bookings are monitored and we ask members to try to achieve at least 50% throughout the year which runs from February to December. We do not meet in January.
